本作品主題名稱為「國泰民安」，主要創作理念來自於民間廟宇香火鼎盛，護國佑民之精神，作品中將臺灣民間廟宇所使用之祈安法會法器、驅兇避煞的八家將臉譜交融呈現，旨在傳達祈求國泰民安之意象，形塑本站整體的空間特色和人文特質，同時表現臺灣民間信仰之文化意涵。
本作品的設計內容分為五個區段：中央區段為「廟宇建築意象－屋頂、廟門、龍柱」。其次相鄰之左右兩側區段為「傳統廟會活動」及「祈安法會法器」，其中「傳統廟會活動」以八家將及舞龍舞獅為構圖元素；「祈安法會法器」則以使用之法器為構圖元素。作品最兩端區段則為「廟宇建築意象－磚牆、花窗及瓦當」。人們將在行進間，隨著視覺移動，體驗作品各區段間之變化，創造節奏之美感。

The title of this work is Prosperity to the Country and Peace to Her People. Its main idea comes from the flourishing of local temples, the spirit of guarding the country and protecting her people. This artwork includes a blend of ceremonial objects used for blessing rituals performed in local Taiwanese temples, painted masks of the Eight Household Generals which ward off evil and misfortune, and imagery to convey the hope for a peaceful country and people, defining the overall spatial and humanistic characteristics of this station while simultaneously displaying the culture of Taiwanese folk beliefs.
The design of this work can be divided into five main parts: the central part is "Architectural images of temples - Roof, temple door, dragon ornamented column," flanking each side of the center are "Traditional temple fair activities" and "Rituals and objects to pray for blessings." "Traditional temple fair activities" is a composition of elements from the Eight Household Generals and lion dance, while "Rituals and objects to pray for blessings" is composed of ritual object elements. The two parts at the opposing ends are "Architectural images of temples--brick walls, lattice windows and eaves tiles." As people walk past, following the visual movement, they will experience the changing parts of the work, and aesthetic sense of rhythm created.
