Zhiben National Forest Recreation Area is located in the southeast of Taiwan and only 22 km, 30-minute drive away from Taitung. The whole area is 110 hectares large and 110 to 650 m above the sea level as an ecological resort covering with rainforest typically. Featuring rich forests, ficus benjamina growing for more than a hundred of years, macaca cyclopis and various insects, the resort is a national forest recreation area perfectly suitable for parents together with their children and friends to visit. In order to help the visitors, clear marks and guides are set up and volunteers of the national forest recreation area are ready to give detailed description and instruction.
