臺中市港區藝術中心座落於文風鼎盛的清水區，是一處多功能、複合式的藝術展演場所。
於民國89年3月12日正式對外開館。
在建築上除了仿閩南式合院之外，還帶有傳統書院風格，古樸典雅，具本土性傳統素質與國際觀視野。
The Taichung City Seaport Art Center is located in the culturally abundant Qingshui District. The Art Center provides space for manifold performances and exhibitions.
The Art Center officially opened on March, 12, 2000.
The building resembles old Taiwanese architecture with a touch of traditional academy. Simple and elegant; it is a combination of local traditional features with international worldview.
