National FongHuangGu Bird Park occupies an area of over 30 hectares, and breeds about 300 species of birds, including local Taiwan species and exotic foreign species. An estimated several thousand birds reside at the park. Birds of different habitual behavior, from different ecological environments, can all be found here. They include mountain birds, river birds, sea birds, and migratory birds. Some of these bird species prefer the land, and others, for example, stork and crane varieties, prefer water.
